| The Australian Government has introduced an insulation rebate
Home insulation is probably the most important factor in reducing domestic energy consumption. The Australian Government has recognised this and decided to take serious action.
This means that if your house currently has no insulation, or has insulation below a certain grade (0.5 R) – you can claim the insulation rebate.
How does the insulation rebate work?
If you are eligible, all you need to do is get two quotes from authorised installers. You pay your invoice up front, complete the Reimbursement Application Form, and then submit your quotes, invoice and form.

Am I eligible for the insulation rebate?
If your home currently has NO insulation, or insulation of a grade less than 0.5 R then you are eligible for the insulation rebate. The insulation rebate is not available for new homes or homes with existing, sufficient grade insulation, extensions or out buildings.
